About Take-my-home
Sometimes the best ideas come from the places where you’ve had the most experiences.
I’ve been working as a flight attendant for over 30 years and have had the privilege of discovering a wide variety of places around the world. Along the way, I’ve stayed in countless hotels—from luxurious resorts to small, family-run accommodations. But the most memorable stays always had one thing in common: they made me feel welcome.
That’s exactly the feeling I wanted to create for my guests.
With great attention to detail, I furnish my vacation rentals so that they are more than just a place to stay. They’re meant to be a temporary home—a place where you can start your day relaxed with a cup of coffee, put your feet up after a long walk on the beach, and simply leave your everyday life behind. Personal, cozy, and with an atmosphere that radiates warmth—instead of the anonymity you often experience in many hotels.
Why Kühlungsborn?
Because this place is very special to me. The fine, kilometer-long sandy beach, the fresh Baltic Sea air, the impressive cliffs, the lively promenade, the marina, and the historic Molli steam train give Mecklenburg’s largest seaside resort a charm all its own. Here, life naturally slows down.
It’s a matter close to my heart that my guests feel at home from the very first moment. That’s why I prioritize comfort, cleanliness, and amenities that I myself would want for my own vacation. Because I’m convinced that the most beautiful vacation memories are made when you don’t feel like a guest, but simply feel at home.
I look forward to welcoming you to my vacation apartments in Kühlungsborn—and to giving you a little piece of home by the Baltic Sea.
